If this is in wrong thread im sorry please move it.

I will be taking bind requests free. If you need a bind made, let me know and ill see what i can do, first come first serve, mainly for those who are too uneducated or too lazy to do it yourself.

7 = 999 Javelins
8 = 99 Big Bombs
9 = Idle Enemies

Note: It is best to make a backup copy of the old hfs file before you begin! Just rename the file extension the .bkup.

Installation: You know the drill:
1. remove previous binds HERE
2. Save the .rar file.
3. Extract the contents to c:\nexon\vindictus\en-US\hfs.
4. when prompted "replace" the existing file with new one.
5. Start vindictus and enjoy.

yay!... well im too nooby even w/ the tutorials I cant seem to be able to edit hfs file to make my own binding... anyways I just wanted a simple bind... i guess i'll put it below..

Note: these are non-numpad keys... im using laptop that doesnt have one xD

Key: 6 = (i dunno the exact command) change level to next sector
7 = Toggles freeze and unfreeze mobs (if possible.. if not then make this freeze mobs key)
8 = if key 7 is possible, then you could put god mode on this key (if not then un-freeze mob command would go here)
9 = Fine spears
0 = change level to current sector
" - " = host_timescale 1.0
" = " = host_timescale 3.0

Thats pretty much all the commands that I only use.. i dun use any other commands besides those... right now im using someones bind (that uses numpad key) since I had no numpad on my laptop... I had to use autoit to execute those commands (just put a scrip that uses those numpad keys for me so that I can activate it even w/o numpad), thats my work around on those binds xD.... anyways would be lovely if you could make an hfs file w/ those simple binding that I mentioned above

You are missing the sprint speed 10000 in the binds, much better than 300 normal.
Btw are you gonna make any binds for everyone, including me? D:

I'm assuming you don't have an "fn" key, but you know you could always have F keys and letter keys bounded.

I do have FN keys, but I only really use those commands I mentioned, I dun use any other commands. I just wanted to be able to turn on/off the ai freeze thing again (since for some reason my 7 and 8 key for them got unbinded) so that I can host legit runs when I need to w/o having to restart the thing client xD. I dun use these "hacks" much, only time I use em is when farming mats for gears (mostly when new updates comes in our version, thats the time I use these stuffs the most..

edit:

uhm... I tried it out but the keys 6 to 0 aint working, they just switch my 2ndary weapon (6 = fine bomb.....8 = fine spears/ 9 = catacomb spears and 0 = sticky bomb).

the " - " and " = " are working fine (1.0 timescale/ 3.0 timescale)

I dunno if you mixed up the hfs files. but yeah mine werent working from keys 6 to 0.

Not complainin since ur doin this for free, i'll just wait for the right one

btw... I did cleared up my previous bindings. =P

Nevermind, it is working. I had to re-patch my client to make sure I cleared my bindings, and it turns out that I havent cleared my bindings thats why yours wasnt kicking in.. now It is working fine.. thanks man

If you want to run legitimate runs as host why don't you ask for toggling binds, instead of separate keys to turn off. It saves more keys and that means more binds.

i did ask if its possible for him to make my key 7 to toggle freeze mobs on/off. but he did it separate keys, it doesnt matter for me anyways since I dun use much commands except the ones I mentioned.

Oh yeah there is another way. You could make a new comp.cgf file inside the FAC...hfs file and have a binded key execute it; the new cgf file has the neutralizing commands.
Example:
bind "6" "exec (file).cgf"

I can't seem to get mine to work, tell me if I'm doing this correctly.
First I took the steps to remove any previous binds, using the method posted, second I downloaded and extracted the .HFS file provided and copied it over the existing file in the hfs folder in my Vindictus directory.

When I start the game and start a boat, none of the F1-F12 buttons are working and neither are the "U" or "Y" binds.
Have I done something incorrectly? Or is there something I should try?

Make sure you go to in-game options and hit "ok"
