HelpReplacing Music files?

So I know many people play with their own music in Vindictus and they all seem to claim it's as simple as dropping your music in the right folder and giving it the right name. I've had no luck with this, it always crashes my game.

For starters let's say I want to replace the vampire music (Blood Lord fight, I hate that music). It's a WAV file in the folder so I convert my chosen song (an MP3) to WAV and rename it to the appropriate 'bgm_mboss_vampire' and drop it in while removing the other for back up. Game crashes upon loading the music.

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There is a thread on this i think, did you change your music name to the original game music name? because if not the game cannot read the file.

Your music file was too big. You'll have to resample it. It should be about 352 kpbs and no bigger than 15mb
