That pretty much is a basic understanding of it. I only got to level 30ish before i got bored of it....

Do it in combination with Blue Dragon slaying. 80k+ a run and you get charms out of it, to boot.

And my final question (for now). What is the best monster to kill for charms (seeing they're untradeable).

Best way to get charms is bursting rock lobsters

second best way to get charms is to kill water fiends

I personally go slaying, as a lot of slayer monsters have high charm rates.

i just do soul wars or slayer it gets you a lot of all of the charms but every monster drop charms
and this is the order you should use them
gold,green,red,blue
wait to you get a large amount then use them.

burst rock lobs its about 400 crims per hour or somthing, which is great, there is a clan chat for it too, i think its "Bursting Lobs"

BUT you needa be able to cast burst spell in the ancient magics or barrage if you have the mage, the ice spells work great combined with the blood ones

my friend welcome to charm pattern:
CharmPattern
basically you input the # number of gold, green, crimson or blue charms you have accumulated from monsters and your current # of summoning exp
it will then calculate what level you will get to, and the exact pouches you'll have to make.
for a summoning obelisk on lvls 1-57:
teleport to your house in tavelery and run to the summoning obelisk and then teleport to castle wars and bank then house teleport back and repeat

for a summoning obelisk on lvls 57-99:
you can now use a spirit kyatt to teleport you near the piscatoris summoning obelisk. use this to your advantage and summon a spirit kyatt to be used to teleport. Again, banking at castle wars is the fastest way to bank.

Waterfiends/tormented demons/ king black dragon/ rock lobsters are best charm droppers.
If you don't have much money, waterfiends is best way with 100+ crimson charms/hour. If you have money go rock lobsters with ice burst/barrage.
