[More Spam]Chams working?

Has anyone tried and succeeded with creating chams? I know there was a thread with longevity's tutorial on it. I downloaded it and quickly looked over it, but has anybody had any luck? If so, anyone feel like sharing tips, if there are any?
I haven't really looked for a pirated copy of Visual 6.0, so I haven't even bothered trying it out. I'm just wondering how long it took to make them and if it was difficult to get 'em to work.

Everyone thinks it's as simple as injecting a d3d .dll, but it's not that simple. If it were that easy some choob with visual would have already released it and combat arms would be filled suddenly with pros. Chams has to be injected into the engine at a certain address. Unfortunately, I, with my limited knowledge of disassembling things have not been about to find the address for my chams to work.
