Capture Card Test

A video I made yesterday just to test out quality of the capture card.
I had to crop the video becuase it had all lines and other shit through it.
Ill try and perfect the settings abit later today.

What you think?

I was playing with 2 bar connection, so there was lag too D:

Did you render in sony vegas?
is it a dazzle dvc 100?

nah i dont know how to use vegas D:
Its cropped in some video converter software.

And nah its not a dazzle. Its just some VCR to DVD capture card my dad had. Brand is Kaiser Baas. Picked it up pretty cheap too.
It uses powerdirector to record.. i just gotta work out the settings to get it into HD(?)

I don't think you will be able to get it into good HD

how can u record with the dazzle DVC 100 and still playing in HDMI? or is that even possible?

Doesnt worry me really.
Its running in 480p now, so if i can get it a little higher, ill be happy.
Someone else i talk to gets mad quality out of it, so ill talk to him later and get his settings

Run the Xbox thru HDMI.
Then plug in the component cables too, and run them to the dazzle.

yeah can you upload like a 30 second clip to media fire for me sometime?

By raw footage, im referring to the un-rendered, freshly recorded one

Maybe, since he doesn't know how to use Vegas.
But in general, the YouTube vids look better than the raw footage with all the edits and color correction

yeh it does, But about 1/4 of the bottom is fucked.
I think its because the set recording resolution is different to the xbox resolution so it starts to double at the bottom

Heres a pic of the raw quality.
Its pretty good IMO except for that shit at the bottom.
