MPGH Spam Reduction Idea

I think that MPGH should have an AJAX based system that tells you if a thread with a similar question already exists. Basically, when you type in a topic title, lets say I typed in "I NEED A HACK", it does an automatic internal search/filter, and if it is all too similar, don't allow the topic post.

EDIT: Another idea, instead of not allowing you to post, just tell them that there are similar threads and link them to it.

Sounds like a good idea. But MPGH.net would be down for a while doing maintance then

Eh it is a bad idea cuz... lets say there was an old patched post, then a new one came out "same thing" and then we cant post it.

but i let em ride... some things people want to discuss and stuff soo its OK!.. even thos half the people just repeat what the last person said

Yeh well Blackshot is my next game. Looks good. Fresh hacks there for like 2 weeks and then a patch and depending on how good they do we could be like warrock or CA

Why doesn't your another idea say "Instead of not allowing them to post, it would just do a search for similar threads" And btw wrong section >.> Don't even know if there's a section for this.
