Combat arms half resolution

after restoring my computer a few months ago and reinstalling combat arms i not noticed that when i start it ..it only loads with half resolution leaving off 1 inch margins on the sides ..now this only happens when im in lobby once i join a game it goes to full screen .. i need help my pc resolution matches that of the game bt same thing happens someone plz help me

Change your desktop resolution and game resolution?

tried it bt its still the same only when i go into a game does it turn full screen after that it goes back to half resolution
