Well seeing as HD's private console still works, and it's still possible for others to create one.. I'd say in that department finding new godmode commands is more important.. But I'd rather be able to mod .hfs again.

But finding a way around this leaderboard is probably most important.. It will be detrimental to people using any hack method.

I'm experimenting with the new command list now in hopes of getting somewhere. Right now I'm creating new binds with the command list and then testing in-game. Godmode and speed are my biggest focus atm.

If you or Pie are interested I'd surely discuss it or collaborate with either of you in PM on testing commands so we aren't "double working" and can get through it faster.

I realize I stay pretty quiet on here usually so you are probably like "who is this guy" lol, but in short I have done lots of mods/hacks for other MMOs in the past such as FFXI, Aion, Guild Wars, and 3D model editing (creating new armor skins and such) for FFXI. I haven't had a need until now to really do anything for Vindictus because everything I wanted was already available here on this site.

Now the situation has changed I'm just trying to be helpful anyway I can to get hacks going again so just let me know.

On a side note, has anyone talked to @AzuiSIeet about a new vZipFlip for this patch?

Or talked to @Fovea perhaps it's just the hfssign algorithm part that needs the fix?

The checksum no longer resides inside the actual hfs file (all secondary checksum fields have been removed). Validation is still probably handled within engine.dll. I haven't had the time/effort to check as of yet.

i actually agree here, i think the actual "hacks" and "releases" should be restricted to members only and downloads restricted to people with 20+ posts. But then we would get spammers to get those 20 posts and leecher accounts and nexon could still get in, so no system is perfect. What we need to watch out for is the tutorials, posting how we do it step by step basically gives nexon the match to light the fire.

Everyone feels information should be treated a lil more hush hush, we are just not sure the best way to go about it.
