Time Machines

If time machines are ever created, the world right now is how we want it in the future? 0;

In my opinion, if there is such a thing as a time machine, if someone was to travel from the future to our present time, how would they go back? Wouldn't you need another time machine to travel into the future? They would be stuck here and they would probably ramble about on where they came from and the fact that the world is at its end in the near future and we would probably blow him off as a crackhead.

I would go back in time and bring very good tecnology with me and just pwn every one that messed with me.

In my opinion, if there was a time machine, we would be so f*cked. Not only would that mess up what everyone calls the time space continuum, but it could cause problems for the future and the present.
I like to think of it as what happens on Fringe, where the worlds are combining of some sort.

Then again, that's just my opinion.

That isn't true. Whoever discovers how to make a time machine doesn't have to release the way to the public which means that it isn't going to go on sale any time in the future. Even if it was released to the public, who could afford one?

It would screw the present up bad if anyone tried to change something.
Thinking imaginably, going back to 2008, what would happen now if a different president was elected? The oil spills in Mexico last year, what would happen if someone changed and altered that time so it wouldn't happen, what WOULD happen now?

A lot of theories, a lot of facts, and a lot of disbelief.
