Windows7 Dumping Warrock

So I tried:

1) Dumping process manually from Task Manager = access denied (obviously)
2) Tried running Kernel Detective in xp mode = BSoD (as expected)

My last option is to run Kernel detective in a VM (virtual machine).

Any useful suggestions/comments?
