little question

i just have a little question :3 if you trade with someone using a ugc or any gamecard. after the seller gave the code for the gamecard to you and you gave your account to him, cant he just go into some other account and use the gamecard quicker than the buyer? i am just wondering what if this happens :3

how? he can just write down the code and use it after the trade?
