Fun Time with Evie and her Golem
I came across these commands earlier today and they yielded some fun results.
Say you hate having to drag your golem all over the place just to find pieces for him. How about this:
npc_prop_golem_prop_snatch_radius 200
Increased that to 1200 in the room before Hidden and it pulled everything in sight.
Now that your golem can get pieces from very far away, it seems to you that the pieces seem to creep towards him. Well, try this on for size:
npc_prop_golem_prop_snatch_velocity 300
Thie first time I tried this, I ramped it up to 1200. The ensuing vortex of objects was hilariously deadly. Ok, well, not deadly but mildly damaging. Also the golem never formed as the angular momentum kept the pieces swirling around him like a giant death blender. Setting it to 600 gave the desired fast build result. Setting it to 7200 destroyed everything in the Giant Spiders room and did zero damage to the spider.
Once your golem is up does it seem to take too long to respond to your commands? I bet it does, so try these out:
evy_golem_command_delay_attack 2
evy_golem_command_delay_disappear 2
evy_golem_command_delay_follow 2
evy_golem_command_delay_hold 2
evy_golem_command_delay_appear 2
Seeting these all to 0.5 makes your commands much more instant and your golem seem less unruly. Unlike the previous commands these are not semi-permanent and do not carry from boat to boat.
I also found:
sk_prop_golem_max_spawn_time 1
npc_prop_golem_prop_snatch_velocity_up_offset 100
npc_prop_golem_prop_snatch_velocity_dir_ratio 0.4
npc_prop_golem_prop_attach_distance 70.0
sk_prop_golem_distance_tolerance 50
sk_prop_golem_min_distance_to_player 80
sk_prop_golem_max_distance_to_player 150
sk_prop_golem_yaw_speed 40
I was in the process of testing these when the servers went down for maintenance.
