omg, I believe I have found the very root of the 'no chams workin' problem. Previously my graphics have always been set on MAX, and just a while ago, I decided to perhaps turn them down. After doing so, my chams were buggy at best. I believe your effects and texture setting have to MAX for the chams to effectively work. Hope this helps.

i run win xp 32bit aswell , same problem
yeah bugtrap pops up so it has to be patched nice as long as it worked
