I guess it's the wrong section, but on this note, McAfee has always, for me, been first choice for freeware Anti-Virus. Also, if you pay for the service, it will catch any trojans, spyware, or malware during the download, and notify you. Just keep it all up to date.

all u do to get it free if you have broadband is to become a member to AOL.com - Welcome to AOL
just as good in detecting and as if you bought it direct from mcafee or other as retail

VirusTotal.com is a free scanner. Though, you can only scan one file at a time.

They're prtty good and they came wit Windows LastXP v21, so i guess the creaters of windows like this program =)
also the pro one comes wit a watcher to look for changes made and keyloggers and stuff like that =)
