"share" should be your "own work" general is "general"

Not specialized or limited in range of subject, application, activity, etc

like come on really...

WAIT, WHAT? Your thread isn't making any sense, are you trying to say we should post videos/images in the sharing section or in General?

general and sharing are the same sections

the description on sharing says " Got something you would like to share with the world? Post it here." which is the same that would come under general, so why be limited to not post videos in general?

Good point you have here, but sharing section is more of sharing pictures, videos, or music. General is more like share your thoughts.

Sharing section => Vids, Pics 'n' stuff, General => Everything else

and that's why Sharing is under general .

the main page for General is active enough... Dave even extended the page size from something like 25-45 to now 50 threads per page for General recently... like earlier this month and that won't handle. I know where you're coming from, but we have subsections invented because there's enough threads for it.

Sharing section is part of general. The subforum makes it easier to browse what you are looking for and to organize.
