I Need Help with Strife's Vista Hack!

I get the error "The program is running on compatability mode. The program is shutting down." What does this mean? And how do I fix it?

These are the steps I've taken... I opened Combat Arms and ran the Enging.exe as Admin and changed it to the compatability of Xp. I also made the Hack run as admin and xp compatable. But when I run the hack, then combat arms, then press Game Start, then press Okay, it gives me the "The program is running on compatability mode. The program is shutting down." Can anyone help me with this? I searched through the forum and couldn't find the answer... Thanks!

Go to your Combat Arms Folder right click engine.exe and untick Run as Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Unfortunately Chams will not work, I don't know a solution and I don't think anyone does on how to get chams to work on vista yet.

ye Engine dont work on vista when i is run in compatibilty mode for XPsp2 ive tried many times but it dont work and i still havent heard anything bout getting strifes chams to work on vista soz

im having same problem..

I do as the turorials say.. right click, compatablity mode.. service pack 2 on the engine and hack.. run it all normal.

when i press start, to start combat arms, i cant play it.. i get the compatability error.. this program will now shut down or something.

If anyone figures out a way how to fix it, it would be much appreciated.


(and side note.. To all those people who cry about leaching hacks.. STFU!!!! how you think you got them noobs?.. coz it was leached to you. So stop being selfish.)

nah i love vista .. just couse a hack don't work for vista doesn't mean vista sucks lol!!!
btw a person will fin dout how to make it to work soon don't worry this is the best site for combat arms

I run it perfectly, I just follow the tutorial here for xp. Only a little lag..so you guys must be doing something wrong. I have home basic.
