i load and all just fine, but i can't seem to get any binds working. it just does the default bindings even though i never went to options.

Yeah, you have to name it config.cfg, it should be replacing the one that is already in your directory.

ok, so i tried renaming it to literally "config.cfg" using the medium mouse one because i usually play on medium graphics on mouse. but it still doesn't work. im gonna try all the lower ones and see if any one of those will work.

ok...nothing seems to be doing anything. do i have to select the setting from the zip that matches with what i normally play under? like i play in medium graphics, so do i have to use the medium mouse config??

you just need to look in the one that has the appropriate settings for you. whether that is keyboard or mouse setup with highest graphix and what not. just look into that zip file and extract the file named Config.cfg into your CFG folder where the game is located.

be sure you have the game closed. CRTL+ALT+DEL for task manager and close all the launchers incase you have multiples open. then open the game from the site on the server u play on and have fun. or open it from the .exe but it may put u in west server by default. anyways have fun

i dont see what the problem is. you must be missing something. shut down the game. go into your vindictus folder. find your CFG folder. Rename the current config file to something else like "wonfig". a single letter change is all u need. it will also help you to tell that you actually put the new file in there. just click and drag the config with the settings you want into the CFG folder and take note of the file size and date modified. start the game and do what you do.
if you repost please leave the steps you took and let us know which wrong ones you took. we may be able to help you better.

okay. i followed the correct folder path into CFG folder, where i had the original config file, which is 7kb. i cut and pasted it onto a different folder to keep in case for updates and whatnot. then i opened the PublicPieBinds.zip and opened the MouseMedium.zip and extracted the config.cfg into the CFG folder. the file now reads as "config".
Then i loaded with Vindictus.exe and clicked the east server cs that's where i play. for like many months, i've been playing on mouse with normal graphic settings and used pie's previous bundles before the update, which worked fine at the time.
When i get in-game, i try pressing some bind keys, like the rocheste teleport but it doesn't work.
I've also tried renaming it to "config.cfg" but that didn't do much either.
i seriously have no idea what's wrong.

no the teleports only work properly while your in town. are you using the "Fn" (function) key to use the binds ? try pressing "F1" on a boat.

i don't use fn for my binds, i never did for pie's previous binds.

No you don't have to run a boat. The teleport commands should work fine. Check the folder properties, and make sure you have it set to show file extensions, windows does not do this by default for "known file types", that way you can be sure of what the file is named.

well, i am preetttyyy darn sure i am doing this right lol, unless i'm bloodydamn brain dead and confusing crap.
i downloaded the pie bundle thingy yesterday (i think), or maybe today....lol, braindead.
i just don't understand why it won't work..i'm gonna try renaming it to LITERALLY "config.cfg" again.

are you taken note of the file size and modify date ? after you open vindictus are you opening options at anytime ? after you open vindictus go back to check the file. close the folder. open Nexon/vindictus/enus/cfg and note that its 11kb and that the date is modified as of the last time you started the game. this should help you to see if its being changed or the game is recognizing it as the config file.

i'll try what you said. but i always check and it's always the 11kb even after i quit vindictus after complete failure of an attempt. and i don't check the options either.

Just to be sure the files on the first page have been updated and we can use those with the new update? Thanks
