Why should you be included in the new GFX team:i'm very knowledgeable when it comes to computer/graphics, i have just recently finished the Level 3 National diploma in Graphics and art at my local college, with the option to move on to University.. i'm not here to big myself up, so i'll leave it to that.

Why should you be included in the new GFX team:
I want to be on the GFX team because I want to get back into Photoshop again. I was using photoshop for a while and the school started and I got lazy with it and this summer I want to go get back into it ad learn new things as I go. The images above are some from a while ago, but I managed to recreate them. Many people said I was good and should look into getting payed for it but I have forgot a lot of stuff and I said it was just a hobby for me. I had created many artwork but many lost due to changing computers and lost hard drives, but have made some recent. I would also like to be a part of this because I do not have anything to do all summer and my parents do not want me t be a bum lol, so i can do something "constructive." I also may be looking at this as a career.

Why should you be included in the new GFX team:

To contribute as much as I can by sharing psd packs, resources, stocks, ect. I would also want to improve on graphics by asking fellow friends like Doc or Ryguy for feedback. I had recently been re-active from a 1-2 year break from gfx due to computer problems as well as school. If there is a request from either the members of mpgh or the staff to the gfx team, I would help on it. And I was a member from '08

Requirements:

Must have an advance knowledge of graphical art & design. **IMPORTANT**

I have studied graphic/web/photo design at school for two years, and not only have we learned the practical and technical stuff about gfx, but also alot of theoretical subjects on how to make our artwork professional (composition, communication etc.)

Must be familiar with Photoshop and other design programs.

Last year we learned how to use programs like PS, InDesign, Illustrator six hours a week for six months. I also know video editing software and 3D programming (like Cinema 4D). Dreamweaver/Flash/HTML/CSS as well.

Must be willing to not only help and complete projects in a timely manner but also be able to handle contests, as well as some member/staff side requests.

Not a problem at all. I have no life, and have much time to work on this stuff.

Must not only enforce rules of the site, but abide by them.

6. Why should you be included in the new GFX team:
   

- As mentioned before, I have studies this stuff at high school for two years. In Norway you can choose a vocational program you want to work with (read more on this page, and I have studied something called Media and Communication. There we have learned to handle programs for photo, grapic design, web design, movie making, animation and sound editing like they do in the professional multimedia business. Two weeks ago we had the exam for Media and Communication, where I chose to design a web page in Photoshop.

Why should you be included in the new GFX team: I like working in Photoshop, and having fun. I started graphics design in the summer of 2007, so that's about 4 years of experience. I am capable of working in a team and by myself. I have been apart of many graphics communities, including my own.

Since I am not a big gamer I don't commonly use this site, hence I have a measly 10 posts. I am big on graphics so if I get a position I will use it VERY frequently.

This is a logo I made yesterday-took me not too long and came out nice.

This is another one. Not quite as good as the previous one, I think, but still pretty good.

Here is a Minecraft logo thingy, which I only made because it's the only game I play frequently. And that's what mpgh is for.

I also made a Minecraft logo video. This i made today, and though I'll never use it, thought it came out awesome.

Why should you be included in the new GFX team:
There are reasons for me and against me:
Youve probably noticed i do mostly 3d projects. I primarily only do video (3d and 2d) and images (3d) this is because I don't have photoshop:P I know that hurts my hope of a position, but I lost it when my PC crashed. so I will try to get it but for now, I don't.
as mentioned, I work many hours daily. And I am constantly getting better, cuz I only have been actively using comps for<a year. Also, any graphics position will make me 10x better. Clearly, don't accept me if u don't like my current work but just keep that in mind.
I also know very (VERY) basic vb coding and could make simple programs. But I don't see myself making anything to good anytime soon.
If I am selected, I would specialize in 3d. I am very willing to get into 2d but like i said, can't really. I just reread the requirements and meet all those, beyond what I mentioned above, and I'd probably suck at layouts. Never tried. As for the rules and handling things, I could do all that. I have a lot of experience with Cinema 4d and sony vegas (may never use it), and get more and more every day.,

Why should you be included in the new GFX team:
Because i know how to use Photoshop to extent past that of average, and have made some damned fine creations in my day. I was active for a long time in the OLD gfx section (iWin, RJ, moosicgawd, martin etc) and i can bring real world designs to the table, im a graffiti artist (going by same name of zen) and i can incorporate that into my designs for MPGH or work with the other gfx team members to do so. I know its a long shot because of my particular "lack" of skill compared to some other gfxers, but i believe i could make up for it in my skill in art in the real world.

Why should you be included in the new GFX team: Well i believe i should be gfx because i have been here for a while now i have also helped out many people i have some pretty good graphics experience i think and i think that i would be a good contribution to the team between SOTW or just fun competitions
