so i'm going to buy a head set Saturday might get these ones
Xbox 360 Gaming Headset | Ear Force X11 | Turtle Beach

or is there any other good gaming headset that's around $80

I honestly suggest a pair of $20 ones unless you're hardcore. Wasting 80 on a headset that you could spend 20 on and get a 12 month with isn't too smart.

I think the X11 is quite bad without the EarforceDSS. I got the X11 first and then i bought the DSS. It makes it much better.

Personally, I have the X11 and A40's. But If you want something that's around 80$, you should probably get the Turtle Beach PX21s, they are 79,99$ at Best Buy and they are pretty confortable in my opinion. The only problem with them is the sound quality suffers compared to the X11s. The x11s are not very comfortable, I'd rather use XLCs for comfortability. In the end it's either the X11s if you want better soundwhoring qualities or the PX21s for it's headphone amplifier.

i think razor makes bad ass headsets for xbox 360 im not sure though i use razor for my gameing comp before it broke QQ

ive got X11's and i dont regret them.

The sound quality is SO much better. Even watching movies with them on is pretty good.

I dont know about the otheres, but the X11's are VERY comfortable on my head. The cup around my ears perfectly and i can have them on all day.. no problems.

x11's are great, because they are hardwired, cannot die, and have amazing sound AND can be used with a computer. x31's however, have better sound and three different sound modes that can pick up different types of sounds better, i actually own both sets. the x31's are wireless and all around the sexiest headset ever, the downside to them is that they eat batteries like a fat man eating chinese food.

they're both are heaps better then the wireless/standard headset for xbox which are fine for casual gamers, but if your on MPGH, you're not a casual gamer.
