Starting to code

I've came back to warrock around a week ago, and yet I haven't got bored yet of legit playing. All I want now is a weapon hack, paying with M60 and dual scorpion would be cool XD

I know enough C to understand how hacks work. Since I saw there are addys for weapons, I guess that putting 1 in them will mean u have this weapon (?)

Anyway I'd like a short explanation about coding these hacks... And how come, if we only set values in addresses, there are "detected" hacks? What can they detect here, injector or what?
