Forum upgrades dont wipe the forum ._. just updates the backend, it will have high change of breaking add-ons though

just changes the Theme.

It doesn't effect posts and other stuff.

As said, only some features should be updated (changed), some might be removed but for the most it will be just upgraded and added

There are database backups you know.

I asked the same thing, But i asked dave on msn if our post are gonna be removed he said, When we switch there just gonna re-format, and no he doesnt have to make everything again.
