So i was going through some old stuff and I found an old game for my PS2 (dont have a ps3 cause im oldschool ), the game is called Gauntlet: Dark Legacy and I felt like playing it cause I have some good memories of that game
So I pop in the disc and after a few seconds of weird scratch-like noises I get Disk read error.
So i go on the internet and look around for some solutions, which ended up with me taking apart my PS2 (and that solution didnt work)
then i found another solution. to put tape over the front of the disc (in the center next to the hole. Also the solution said that it only worked for blue discs, which is what gauntlet is on)
so i do that, pop'd in the disc and it worked (also it didnt have the scratch noises)
so now if I have a blue disc that doesn't want to work I just go get some tape and then I can play
