VMware problem

Hallo!
i have just downloaded
VMware Workstation but i have a problem with the mouse :?
when i go to the desktop the mouse location is wrong because when i go onto a programme mouse is elsewhere :P
How can i solve it?

I dont get what your saying...

when the mouse is on the desktop the cursor is e.g. in one place but the real mouse is elsewhere :?
