My patcher is running, but didn't show up, pls help

I need help for my patcher, i've tried re-installing and rebooting crossfire, but it doesn't work, also i only open task manager only, no hacks are opened.
i'm using xp( also if you know hacks can work on xp home edition), some1 give a reasonable idea..... thanks

Okay, first i open crossfire.exe ( no hacks or anything )
secondliy i pressed start
i was waiting for the auto patcher,
Since one hour, it never show'd up
i need a quick reply or my crossfire skills will be lousy

Unistal and then delete the crossfire map

no not reinstal-.- the xtrap map stays there you need to delete that
