Also the encryption isn't that strong because if you have two letters like "Steven" the e will be the same character. Like in your message to be encrypted at the end "jaja" look at the end of the encrypted message.. see what I mean?

Actually the encryption posted is a form of shift encryption, to be more exact... ceasar encryption without the proper use of the alphabet, the problem is you don't use modular function to keep the resulting bytes in the correct range 00..FF for each char, lets say for example I had the char "z" that needed to be encrypted with your encryption, and I used a integer key of "134" this resulting value would be outside the range of $FF. The char "z" is represented by byte value of $7A and 134 decimal is represented by byte value $86 add these two together and you will find the result being $100 or you can also say $FF + $01 = $100 which is outside the ansi character range.. the work around would be to use unicode or use Modulas function
