Usual , the title 'bestfriend' among a male and female is just an excuse for.... I like him/her, i talk with him/her a lot and trust him/her a hella lot, i'm just not ready to be with him/her, or don't know if he/she likes me back. (bestfriend title may stay even if feelings were long gone)

Oh well. That's very complicated. I have a best friend too (girl) who tells me everything and who she likes etc. I don't love her, but I am pretty sure that if I invite her to go out she will accept. So I think that your friend will do so too. Just ask her to go out, idk the cinema etc. Make her day amazing. When girls are having a good time with a boy, they usually start to act like they felt in love with you. And that's the moment when you should tell her what you feel for her. Hope you understood.
