Battlefield 3's gonna either be on par with MW3 or going to be better, so I'll take my chances with Battlefield.

Black ops is a different game.
CoD4, 6 and8 are a series within the Call of Duty series. All three are one story line. Black ops was based on the Cold war but treyarch added a random story line to make it 'fun'
Asking if Modern warfare 3 is going to be fun is like asking who is going to win the superbowl. You won't know untill it is over
and there will definitely be a sequel to Black Ops to wrap the CoD series up.
