console question
Hello guys and gals I was wondering if it would be possible to install COD Black ops from the CD, and not have it update to the latest version from steam.
(And I do not mean when you insert the disc and it tries to download the whole 8 gig file, I mean actually installing it from CD which is straight away v1.0 and not have it update.)
P.S. Sorry for being such a n00b.
well you need the disc for starters,
secondly you can just run steam in offline mode while your installing it so it doesn't update,
thirdly why is your thread named "console question" when it has nothing to do with console?
Sorry forgot to add in that v1.0 has console
