Photographic Studies

Some of these are quite old, I've been waiting for my new camera to be delivered. Haven't shot anything in about 6 months. Bare in mind these have been optimised for viewing and printing with my monitor and printer combination, so I'm not sure they'll look exactly the same on your set-ups.

LOL very good but the fact they are B&W freak me out too! Seriously!

Black and White doesn't usually freak people out, aha.
I tend not to shoot or show my final retouching work in colour unless a client specifically asks for it. Just a personal thing I guess.

First one looks like a man wearing a wig.
Kind of has a muscular body/face.

Third and fifth ones are the only ones i like the others got some compo issues and the guys head in the second one is just one some random texture floating

compo could do with a bit of work, but theyre not bad
i dislike the use of HDR on portraits though, too hard edgey for my liking

- She wasn't the best model, but classmates never are.
- No HDR on the second portrait, thats how it was shot in the studio, just boosted contrast. That texture was already there, wasn't the cleanest piece of glass.
- Any suggestions for improvement on compositions?

the barn house kinda looks like the ones that murders put bodies in..but overall, i like 'em. i do a little photography myself, need a new camera though...
