What is Void step ? Void Step is a K-Style technique . The technique is so powerful that it is most times mistaken for lawnmower hacks. This being so the "Void Step" technique has gone through many name changes because the of what players think it is. The skill is very difficult to master, but when mastered it is amazingly powerful .

How to Void step(Kodachis)

Many mistake that since the Golden Dragon kodachi is strong it will do the better job, but no it is not going to help you at all when void step comes in. For starters I recommend the lightweight Kodachi, level 21. Here is the method to void stepping .
Click and hold the mouse your character's sword looks like it's going to start charging, release and do it again. Your character may look sorta retarded when you first start, but it will help you get a rhythm which is neededed in performing a void step at any sort of high speed.Most times people say you have to wait until your character gets to the charging point. This is not so. The animation should never actually get to the charging stage when this technique is used right. Once you've had your rhythm/pattern that works best for you in void step you should be able to change very quickly from no action to full speed, bypassing all the build you might've used to get to it.
With this method : You can perform fast bladed attacks that cause decent amount of damage per second. Keep doing this and you can stop your enemy from moving or keep him extremely limited.
Risks : (If not in gladiator) your enemy can still shoot you; recoil is a common problem;short range; Blocking can mean death.

How to Void step(Katanas)

The best sword to start with in using this form of void step is the Devil Slayer (level 40) it can be used with all lower forms of katana even down to rusty (special items work to...just wait...). The Devil Slayer is about as close to being a good start as you can get due to the delay, however if this isn't a low enough level for you, you can try down to a military sword, though be warned, even if done right it may appear very slow (it's even worse with most special item) The reason this is because katana based void for most people can actually be harder to build up speed then regular Kodachi's. Before void stepping with Katana's it would be best if you knew how to do them with Kodachis. Although its Katana's a pattern/rhythym is still what you need to do to get it done right. With this Method : Blocking is common; High damage per second;limits enemy's movment; longer range. Risks : Harder to start and stop; Slow, (compared to Kodachi ); Enemy can still shoot you; Recoil still a problem; Blocking can mean death (less chance but still applicable) In a death match this style is best used in the event of 1 on 1 combat in close quarters.
