lol theres a point in physics where it becomes so abstract that it probably belongs in the liberal arts sections, but that doesn't make it wrong. keep in mind that gravity is still just a theory.
I went to some showing of how 4D works back when it was first being used.
Water sprayed in my face. Chairs moved. Fans were blowing simulating wind. Best part though, was how you'd see rats tails on the screen and something underneath your chair would be touching your legs simulating those rat tails. Scared me to death

I AM PRETTY SURE I WENT TO THE SAME ONE AS YOU THEN!!! CAUSE I REMEMBER THOSE WEIRD TAILS.... i spent like 10 min trying to find what the hell it was, then i realized it was just a hollow rubber tube....
4D means smell and touch as well, like a scene where someones on a boat and you feel water splashing against your face ect

How long are people going to say the same thing over and over again?
I answered this like 20 hours ago.

The commercial for Sky Kids said the 4th D was aroma. So you can actually smell what's in the movie. BIG FUCKING DEAL
According to the definition, it's not all that crap that about 19 people says just on this page.
"4-D film (sometimes written as 4D film) is a marketing term that describes an entertainment presentation system combining a 3-D film with physical effects in the theatre, which occur in synchronization with the film (note that 4-D films are not actually 4-dimensional). Because the physical effects can be expensive to install, 4-D films are usually presented only at special venues such as theme parks and amusement parks. However, in Mexico, Nepal, South Korea and India, some movie theatres also have the ability to present a 4-D film and the film Avatar was one of 10 films that have received the treatment, starting with Journey to the Center of the Earth.[1] Some of the effects simulated in 4-D films include rain, wind, strobe lights, and vibration. The use of water sprays and air jets is also common. A 4-D film is not shown in a motion simulator, although some seats in 4-D venues vibrate or may move a few inches during the presentation."
