Forging - Combat Arms

Overview -
Forging has been added into Combat Arms by Nexon to introduce a new level of variation into the game play and incorporate even more weapons into common usage. Forging can be accessed through the in-game Gun Emporium interface. This is the area where all your forging needs will be fulfilled.


Forging -
Forging is the process of taking one gun, and transforming it into a totally new and improved weapon. These new weapons are nearly totally different than their original counterparts. There are two components necessary to create a forged weapon, the base weapon, and pallets.


Base Weapons -
Base weapons are straightforward to obtain, many base weapons are purchasable with GP.

Pallets -
Pallets though, are much more difficult. Pallets can only be obtained by completing jobs gotten from the Gun Emporium.



Jobs -
Jobs involve obtaining five of a type of Forging Hardware (FH), which can then be converted into a pallet of that same type. The types are Replica, Plastic and Water. FH's are obtained on the Roulette Wheel


Roulette Wheel -
The Roulette Wheel only appears after specific criteria are met in game. These criteria depend on game mode and the master of the game room.



Finally Forging -
Once you have both of these materials, you can forge a weapon! To forge, you go into the forging interface.

Select your gun from the list, and hit auto complete at the top. If you have the correct number of pallets, you can complete the recipe and you have a forged weapon!

TIPS AND TRICKS (READ THIS, YOU SONS OF BITCHES)

When you're forging, DO NOT FORGE ONE DAY GUNS. YOU CANNOT RENEW THE GUN AFTER IT HAS BEEN FORGED, UNLESS YOU FORGE IT AGAIN. To be cost effective, you'll want to buy at minimum, a 30 day weapon before forging it. In 30 days you should be able to recoup the forging materials and the GP to reforge the weapon again.
