I'm new to this and I need to know the best programs etc to get clips and edit and how to increase my fps. CA's recorder was lagging me so I got owned in the test vid and fraps when recording clocks at about 15 FPS.
Try following my tutorial (haven't updated it in a while though) http://www.mpgh.net/forum/288-combat...-10-steps.html
If you can't record pass 30FPS in a 5v5 game, then recording your games is useless, you'll have to buy a new PC or update your hardware and format your drive.
Fraps is the best screen recorder.
Sony Vegas and After Effects are the best editors.
I'd recommend going straight to Adobe After Effects, but Sony Vegas is less [yet still] confusing.
All a matter of getting comfortable. I recommend you start off with a few videos in Windows Movie Maker though.
Record your screen with a camcorder
Get a better comp. CA's in-game recorder lagging you = shittest comp out.
If the ingame recorder lags you theres really nothing you can do but. Get a new graphics card i suggest the AMD Raedon 6850 Its a good card. You need a 450 watt power supply though. >.> So idk what you have and get a new processor and video card.

well, in combat arms, i think the ram and cpu is more important than the video card.
The game uses an old lithtech engine, and cant fully take advantage of newer cards and technology. There's nothing they can do to change that
I recomend fraps
But if your computer sucks
I dont recommend recording at all
