★★ If you want to get the advantage in Gunz: study this guide and you will have a much better advantage over the competition
❢❢❢
【Weapon Usage】:
•Rifles:
Maxwell/Nico: Deadshot accurate, the shot dispersion is very small.
Walcom: inaccurate, useful only at medium to close range.
•Revolvers:
Revolvers are dead on accurate, with Zaurus B kingpin of accuracy.
•Pistols:
Raven: Like the Walcom, pretty inaccurate. (but it hits hard).
Raptor: A small bit less accurate than a Nico rifle, but accurate nonetheless.
•SMG:
The general rule of SMGs are they are about as accurate as a Raptor, maybe a little bit less.
•Shotgun is a shotgun:
It fires a spray of buckshot, accuracy has no effect here considering it's a radius attack.
【Movement and Accuracy】:
•Stationary:
This is the normal accuracy of the gun, unmodified, and goes where you point.
•Running Forward:
Slightly more accurate that standing, risky though.
•Running Backwards:
Your accuracy dies here, this is as inaccurate as you can get as your shots will seem to hit wide all the time.
•In Air:
Same as stationary, this also applies to movement in the air as well.
Strafe
There is a small penalty on your accuracy here, but it's hardly noticeable even if you try to study it.
•Diving:
Your shots are deadshot accurate in a dive in any direction, take advantage of this while using high damage weaponry like revolvers.
【Notes】:
⇨ While an accurate gun is great, you may have to decide between damage and accuracy, such as the case between pistols.
⇨ 150 ping or higher is generally a game of chance.
⇨ Lunge forward while discharging your pistol (aim well), if a player engages you, leap back and take a few shots during the leap. Quickly switch to sword and block the first attach and let off a combo. Switch to guns and hit your enemy while they are on the ground. If they are still alive finish them off with a close range combo. If you miss some shots and prolong the battle make sure to jump behind them with each new movement.
【Practicing】:
⇨Quest in mansion with quad revolvers. Make sure you don't stand at one place and spam, constantly move around on close/very close range, try your best to make every shot hit into the NPCs.
⇨ Take your melee weapon off and go to a duel. After a few hours, your aim should improve tremendously.
⇨ learn to aim at stationary objects using revs (i.e. lamp posts in town), pick any target you want and as you get better make the targets smaller and your movement faster, try shooting from the air too. once you can accurately do this, you have control of your sensitivity which is required before learning to aim.
⇨Practice in hall duel matches; reason for this being that hall fights are mostly ground based so you can focus on that rather trying to learn aerial aim and ground aim all at once.
【Tips】:
⇨Get a non-changing SMALL crosshair.
⇨Tend to keep your aim up, your guns are no use if you are shooting the ground.
⇨Read to see if there's a repetitive pattern that the opponent is doing and don't be afraid to use the map to your advantage.
⇨Don't aim exactly where you want to shoot. You need to lead ahead for both the lead and the dash. For example : You should generally aim half a body ahead for 25 ping to get a perfect pb. however, if they dash, you need to aim 1 body ahead, so you will end up SHOOTING when the target is half a body ahead.
⇨Start trying to aim to the side of the Torso. This is where most of the damage is dealt because of the constant movement of the bodies. In a shotgun shot there are multiple projectiles, this helps the damage concentrate because more that likely, the body will be moving.
⇨ Aim for the stomach for a better damage output since more of the shots will land on your target. Otherwise you can charge your melee weapon and hit him with the smash.
⇨One of the more important tips never just stand around shooting or swinging your sword, you need to practice landing shots while jumping.
⇨In Gunz, your character should never have its feet on the ground during battle for more than a few seconds.Reload before you have to this will save your life more than once so get used to doing it at the right time.
