I'm actually liking the whole high contrast, saturated colours look.
Looks a bit TOO dark in some areas but I actually think you did a good job.

Trying bringing back a little detail in the dark areas at least.
If you want them to stand out try just desaturating the rest of the image a little more (looks like you have a little already).
