HelpChar creation error

Hi I'm playing EMS and I've just downloaded and installed maplestory (as I uninstalled it to make space a while ago). Now my problem is whenever I try to make a new character I chose my name and looks but when I click OK I get this message:
I have tried different servers, IGNs, accounts, jobs... Nothing's working I can play existing characters and delete chars tho

I've had the same problem. It resolved itself on it's own after Nexon patched again.
So, either wait it out, or hope someone else gives you another answer.

Oh, maybe try setting the compatibility for GameLauncher.exe to like windows xp and run it as administrator and launch from there?
If you have Vista or 7 of course.

hmmm happened to me before too. I think its a server lag problem. Try going on maple at a less populated/ eventful time (Hot time Event)
