New Ipod

My last Ipod got stolen, sooo I got a new Ipod today, and I can't remember all the music I like/had so I can refill it with music. My dad has an Ipod classic with 120 gb, and I just got an Ipod touch with 8 gb. He said he would trade Ipod's with me if I wanted to.
So, I need some help. If you post in this thread, I request two things from you. First, which Ipod I should use, and second, suggest some music I should add to whichever Ipod I get.

I would stay with the touch 8gb music is plenty enough to have hours and hours of music. and it's also less bulky and face it everyone wants modern things and with the old ipod you would have no warranty
