Is it possible with a PTC or anything to disable the background music in C++?

Theres a more easy way by clicking settings > sound > BGM off > ok
yes, there are 2 PTC. one for sound and one for music. Here you go:
SoundEnable 0 (1)
MusicEnable 0 (1)
SoundEnable 0 (1)
MusicEnable 0 (1)
You're going to want to unplug your speakers.
