really. well if you wuold like, i can tell you in confidence i didnt even touch the smudge tool in that sig ONCE so how is that pwnt. ive never seen that style anywhere before either/.

noob styles arent whored....like anyones earliest sigs, they don't have a style...hence they can't be whored, they are random and pure imagination

(i don;t tihnk you can classify "brushed' as a style, it is more of a technique, which would be completely different)

if you look at my tutorial, you will see this is all i brushed........ this is every lats piece of brushing i did. so i didnt whore brushing. look closely, theres about a massive 3 brushes there. WOAH STAND BACK!



sorry if im sounding angry or mean, no offense intended. also, i meant like brushing is extremely varied, as is smudging. but you see alot of similar smudging like "grab your X brush and smudge a little outwards frmo the render" over and over and over. find me a repetetive brush backgruond that you see like that and ill agree.

im totally lost in this little convo ur having so ill reply to what jaded said-

jaded, i go into detail (and even tho i dont really mean to) because many designers can get confused at times. such as when peopl bluntly say something like- ok grab the dodge tool and equip it to lowlevel harshness and dodge up the render left side, then set it to the bright4est setting with a crosshatch filter.

now who here understood that? tbh i actually did, but its just things like that that make me do shit like over explain, like what im doing right now!

and jaded i totally agre with you in every sense youve said here. i am not saying what i am properly trying to say. so here it is (dont know why i didnt say it b4)

smudging is a good style, itrs not a techinque. a techinque is like your crazy abstract. thats a techinque. a stylwe is something that isnt neccaserily difficult but requires little inspiration and creativity. i am sure there are ways smudging can be extremely unique but i am yet to see one. my main point was this- i am tired of seeing people using just the most basic form of smudging as they read it. the best thing anyone can teach you in photoshop is this one little thing- be creative. individual.
