I was thinking about this earlier,please tell if this wouldnt work out and why.

Ok so my idea would be to make it so if you payed American tax,you would be thought of as an American,so then so many illegal immigrants would be happy,and the government would get more money,is there a problem with this situation?

You have to pay for citizenship already.

And you can't have "i paid the tax on that donut, i'm an american", that would really fuck up things.

Why not illegal as well?

Try and take the quiz for American citizenship without cheating, 99.9% of everyone who does will fail.

Also, it's really expensive as I had to do that. I had to do a long fucking quiz and I had to get a bar maximum to pass.
