[Solved] What just happened?

What just happened?

First, the stuff i had prepared for hacking Vindictus:
sinJect (with an autoclose function)
VinV5b.dll
PubConUSv3.bc.dll
Pie's binds (I did as instructed)

So here's the thing, after a day of hacking, the hacks stopped working. So I played the game normally, grinding my teeth in slight annoyance. I went back here and downloaded the four items (shown above) again. I start up sinJect, it didn't autoclose so i closed it manually, i went downstairs to take out the trash, came back, get a black screen, get to the main menu, press 'Start', choose new character, picked Lann, s-
HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!
I had to choose a new character, on an account that I had a lvl 31 in. Now, either someone found me out or the hacks totally messed up my game. I was being so careful, too, but anything is possible.
Anyway, I didn't get banned. But having to start over is pretty annoying too. So what's the problem here?

Are you playing on West and using Pie's cfg? If you are, it changes your default server to East.

I don't see how that does anything. I always play on West Server, but I don't see how changing it to East Server would do stuff. Besides, Pie's bind worked great before.

EDIT: I saw that it was on East Server, I changed it to west, HOLY HELL! You were right! Thanks a bunch

lol'd ... How is this not the first thing people check when this happens... Amazes me every time.

LOL, server makes a BIG difference because your characters aren't GLOBAL.
Click the right server. You probably used his configs which reset your server because ALL of that information is stored in that configuration file.
I agree with Dank, how the HELL is this not the first thing people check when they KNOW there are multiple servers >.<

Sorry if I'm not even a recreational gamer! Hell, you should see me when I try to connect to the internet with my XBox 360.

Oh, and the cheats aren't working anymore :P In advance, I am sorry if I overlooked some simple mistakes. Anyway, same programs are used as listed above except I downloaded the normal sinJect without the autoclose.

Game still works, at least. So here I go again: I downloaded everything again, turned off my firewall again, ran sinJect as administrator, picked both dlls and vindictus.exe, manual load, turned off sinJect after the click, got the command box (I use hotkeys, so i have no idea what that does), made sure it was WEST server, selected a stage, and none of the hotkeys worked.

Xohka do not close the Injector Until u hear the Click, it is taking a bit longer for the Injector on my pc too. I also closed it before I heard the click and it did not work so I tried again and waited, what seemed an agonizing length of time, and fianlly the Click. After the first time the following Injections went quicker. Hope this helps.

I did turn it off after the click. sinJect works fine, it's just something else that's not.

EDIT:
=_=; I found two problems that I justified just now:
1. I like to listen to podcasts while I'm playing so I go to the in-game options and turn off the volume. As Pie stated somewhere in his Bind thread, going to the options would reset config.cfg Now I'm a bit bummed out I can't listen to podcasts at the same time. Unless I'm playing w/o hacks.

2. The hotkeys changed sometime before I re-downloaded Pie's bind. The cheat works, just not in the places I remembered them to be.

If you're using Windows (at least I know you can do this in 7), and using the default audio driver, you can right click on the volume and select the mixer, then turn vindictus sound down while keeping everyone else at normal.

Issue solved, closing...
