Hello General(s)

Went to the cinema with some buddies to watch Conan the Barbarian 3D and I accidently scammed the cashier so i ended up being paid 21 bucks (swedish money, its like 3-4 USD) to eat snacks, drink soda, and watch a movie.

The way this happend was, as I was about to pay for my snacks and drink and ticket, I was holding out a 100 kr (kr = swedish money) bill towards the cashier, and he said "that will be 79 kr" and he took the bill, as he was holding it I said "how much did you say?" because I didint hear him, and he looked to the machine again to make sure it was correct at the same time as he was getting my ticket from a thing next to the cash machine, and then he repeated "79 kr".

The thing was, he never put my 100kr bill in the cash thing machine, he instead, took my ticket with the same hand he was holding my 100kr bill with, and handed it to me, and I took both the ticket and the 100kr bill and pocketed them, and then he give me the 21kr in change aswell as my snacks and drink. He never noticed, and neither did I til i was going to give the ticket to some lady which was collecting them like 20 meters away.

A good deal I would say.

So General(s), any similar things ever happend to you?

I did something similar but I told them they made a mistake (I'm so nice

) and they let me keep the money for being honest.

I rarely ever keep the money when that sort of thing happens. I end up feeling guilty and give it back. I only scam friends

Ah, so we're the opposite :P
I would never scam a friend (except in games)

But in situations like this, I wouldnt go back to return it.

Yeah lol, and it isnt the first time ive got money back/got to pay less for something, it happends from time to time.

A couple of months ago my older brother was gonna go on a vacation with his friends, and he went to a forex store thing to exchange some money, and they accidently gave him double back, they gave him 8000 bucks, when he was only suppose to get 4000.

They looked him up tho and requested their money back, so he had no coice, but he had intended to keep it if they had never found him.

They found him through one of his friends which paid with a card, so they could call the bank, get his friends number, and call him and ask for my brothers number, and then call my brother.

they couldnt trace my brother because he paid cash.
