Ah, but osmaw and OPGL aren't in my "base weapon" definition.
Unlocking weapons in APB isn't really that hard. You just have to be somewhat competent when it comes to shooting the gun and doing objectives. If I play good I can get a contact done in a fairly short period of time (by short I mean a few days, which when it comes to progression games is pretty damn fast).
