Make your own video game

YoYo Gamesⓘ is a place to upload games made by using the program Game Makerⓘ. This site is a huge community, and their system is just amazing.

I have made a few games, mainly from the tutorials (working on a first person shooter now, I need some people to help design 3D graphics), but haven't gotten around to uploading them yet for other people to play, rate, comment, etc.

Anyways... yeah
If you've always wanted to make your own game, from shooters, to puzzles, just anything, this is the right way to go. AND ITS FREE(unless you want to buy the full version of Game Maker which costs only $20 for lifetime lol).

I would definitely check out that site, I bet if we could get a few great programmers(no, its not C++, its GML(Game Maker Language, very easy to learn dont worry), and a few GFX artists and pixel artists to help, some members from MPGH could pull off a really nice game :]

That would be some nice advertising pointers; I would be happy to help but I'm shitty with 3D/pixel art.

Rofl, Game Maker is hella easy to use.. not need to know programming, maybe just a lil, but it still easy..

This shit is old, this is my beginning of ever being on the internet. I started this GameMaker bullshit in '03. It never started as YoYoGames. YoYoGames bought the source from Mark Overmars. I've been around there since it was just a shitty main site with a default IPB forum with GMC as the logo. I used to love doing it, but now... now it's a bunch of ******ry with YYG trying to claim it as their own, and Mark Overmars doesn't care because he probably got a shit load of money for the GM engine. The only thing I believe YYG did was convert GM to C++ base. And guess what it did? People are able to decompile now.

game engine is to basic to make anything good i suggest using torque engine at least
