Minecraft Help Overall

I need some overall minecraft help. Do I need a premium account for everything I try to do? Or can I get a client that allows me on free worlds(old version) and has mods. MyCraft you have to be a premium, idk how to work PickaClient10. I just need some overall help with all this. I'm VERY new to minecraft.

Get the Minecraft client in the stickies, i'll get the link for you. Get it, and run it. I'm not sure if this is what you mean.

but you have to register in Minecraft for free and you must also have Gmail

If you get the cracked you can't play smp, unless the server is offline, but if you buy it you could go to any multiplayer world
