the sound card but my games work with sound and my videos with sound but Crossfire no

The sounds I'm not hearing; are the sounds such as the effects like double kill, multi-kill, etc. I also can't hear radio messages sent to me, or radio messages I send to people.
I tried re-installing many times, yet no luck. The sound and sound effects on the game are all maxed. I uninstalled my sound drivers and re-installed them, yet still no luck...
I've got Direct X10 as my latest Direct X Version...
Any help?
