Basics of hack/trainer development

I am trying to make my own trainer for blackops.
But i don't know what the basics are. Can someone help me with telling me the basics (visual basic) ?

I am webdeveloper (php) so is,it easier for me to learn the basics,of vb? i saw that it is,all OO programmed .

i found someone for mw2 But not for blackops

if i replace in the module all iw4mp -> BlackOps is that ok ?

And than call the function memoryh4x() ?

example: '
memoryh4x(&H12BC89C, new_value, 4) 'For mw2 works the same as in blackops but then other values

i am trying but nothing happened.
2 Options :
I do it wrong.
The hex valued which i heard were updated(renewed/old patched) are wrong.

TIP: If you don't understand the code you copy&pasted...
Then forget it...

It requiers some brain to make a trainer.
Else it would just go in-game, type. "Make me a trainer!" and boom, the game made a trainer for you.

I know and i copy pasted the module like the tutorial said. Then i used my mind and replaced iw4mp to BlackOps in the modules. I search for values like money and type
memoryh4x({Hex},{Newvalue , {Bit(4)})
After this i download sources and study them to create som experience with visual basic.
