I Think That's Wrong Section 
It is difficult to start, and it's definitely not something you would call easy... but once you get the hang of it it can be rewarding 
Simple programming is a fun and entertaining pastime.

I would recommend Visual Basic which is a good starting language. Web design (HTML, PHP programming) is also fun to learn and a highly employable skill.
The languages used to make hacks are normally the C language, particularly C++. These are difficult, and should be attempted once you have a grasp on programming.

Personally I like HTML and CSS and I am interested in learning Visual Basic and C++.
I do not have the time however so I will probably just stick with what I know and venture into PHP instead.

html is pretty easy, just takes knowledge of repetitive things and which order they go in.
