Windows Vista is such a fail that whoever bought it when it first came out should have been given a FREE copy of Windows 7.
Vista is just that bad.
Also, Windows 7 is based off the foundations of Vista and uses a lot of the same drivers...it is just better and a hell of a lot more lightweight.

Haters gonna hate but Windows 8 is just 7 + metro UI & system tweaks to make it work great with tablets & touch input. I love it
