There is a mod called Single Player Commands. You can find the mod here: [1.8.1] Single Player Commands [V2.12.1] MCP Pack Updated - Minecraft Forum

As I previously stated, Click T, to open up the chat bar, type in the command you desire, hit enter.
The command should work if you installed singleplayer commands correctly.
